Photographs in oversize folder 1 and folders 3-6: Open for public research. Items kept in cold storage; access requires 24 hours advance notice. Negatives in folder 2: Open for public research. Glass plate negatives in box 7 and folders 8-9: Condition restricted; permission to use items must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services. Lantern slides in folders 10-12: Condition restricted; permission to use items must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services.

Biographical / Historical

The Bamberger Railroad Company was organized in 1939 after the reorganization of its predecessor, the Bamberger Electric Railway. The Railroad provided passenger and freight transportation between Ogden and Salt Lake City, Utah. The company and its assests were sold in 1956.
