ALS which mentions the forwarding of requisitions from the 5th and 10th Infantry Regiments for new rifled muskets. Discusses defective muskets and defective saddles. Mention is also made of a Lieutenant Shunk who is to be reimbursed for his purchase of military supplies.
Revolutionary soldiers of Onondaga Co.
Handwritten and bound biographies of men who served in the American Revolutionary War for the United States from Onondaga County, New York. Also included are newspaper clippings, correspndence, a receipt, and research notes relating to Beauchamp's compilation on the men who participated in the war. These materials were published in 1913.

Richards tells Hrmon to notify all officers to attend a military council to be held at the tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pasted to the same sheet is an appointment to the Standing Committees on the Improvement and Public Grounds and a note that was certified by R. A. McBride, selectman for Millard County, Utah.
Samuel W. Richards diaries
Photocopies of excerpts from handwritten diaries. The items cover the years 1846-1847, 1857-1859, 1868, 1869, 1873, and 1875-1876. Richards lived in Nauvoo, Illinois, presided over the European Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, prepared Utah Militia units for an expedition into Sanpete County, and served on another mission to the Eastern United States. Also included are patriarchal blessings and miscellaneous items relating to Richards and his family.
