Joseph Robert Meservy and Phebe Meservy Higbee notebooks
The Joseph Robert Meservy and Phebe Meservy Higbee notebooks consist of colored photocopies of the original notebooks. Joseph Robert Meservy's notebook begins in 1864 and contains a number of autobiographical notes, diary notations and summaries of pioneer business transactions. Phebe Meservy Higbee's notebook contains news and magazine articles, poetry, recipes, and family records. Both notebooks contain multiple pages of Pitman shorthand.

Contains biographical information and research on Milton Kelley, biographies (including duplicates and handwritten draft) and family group records for Milton and wife Malinda Allison, biography and family group records for their daughter Catherine Melinda Kelley (a Battalion laundress) and husband Benjamin Lamoni Alexander, and biographical research and family group records for Malinda's second husband, Robert Dockery Covington. The Alonzo J. Morley and Eloise Stewart Morley family papers consists of correspondence, photographs, slides and records of the family. The collection reflects the the thorough involvement the Morleys had with their community as Dr. Morley was involved with drama at BYU and later on speech pathology, while his wife created a Morley Tours company.
