Charles George Gordon letter
Charles V letter to Philip II
Handwritten letter on parchment to the Emperor's son, Philip II. The item is an instruction to Philip that he can trust Ferdinand I but not the "Bishop of Madrid." Charles warns Philip of the "seditions" in France and orders him to keep the borders of Spain protected. The letter concludes with words of farewell and blessing adjacent to the Emperor's symbol.
Charles V letter to Rodrigo Ponce de León
Handwritten and signed letter dated March 9, 1521. Charles writes to the Duke of Arcos concerning his efforts to pacify the trouble in Seville, Spain.

Charlotte Wiehrdt
Typewritten biography of Charlotte Wiehrdt by an unknown author. Charlotte Sherwood was born in 1917 in Hunt, Arizona. She served as a nurse for the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 and married Leonard Irvin Wiehrdt.

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typed biography. Sadie Chipman writes about her father, Washburn Chipman. Washburn was born in Canada in 1829 and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1836. He moved near Nauvoo, Illinois, and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1847. He later settled in American Fork, Utah, where he died in 1926
