Estelle M. Burton autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. Burton was a nurse for the United States Navy. She was stationed at Jacksonville, Florida, in 1948. She was in the service from 1948 until 1949. She married Lee D. Burton in 1949 and later joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Photocopies of handwritten letters dated 3 Jan. 1882 and 6 Dec. 1883. John T. Caine and George Q. Cannon write of the death of William Henry Hooper in the 1882 letter, and James Sharp writes to Caine about how the activities of the United States Congress might have an impact on Utah in the missive of 1883.

Included are papers specifically on the Idaho vs. Freedom case. Much of the collection deals with his service as a judge; the controversy over the equal rights amendment is mentioned throughout the collection. The collection dates from 1930 to 1994.
