Photocopies of handwritten and typewritten correspondence, mostly between Peterson and his family. He tells about his experiences in training and in France, including combat. His family writes about their activities and their concern for his safety. Peterson was wounded in combat and later killed on 11 November 1918, the last day of the war. Includes letters sent to Peterson's family following the war.
Eula Louise Peterson autobiography
Typewritten autobiography. Peterson joined the United States Navy in 1942 and was trained at Mare Island. She was later deployed to the South Pacific in 1945.
Martin F. Peterson interview with Richard Baldwin
Typescript of an interview conducted by Martin F. Peterson on 18 March 1985 for Hillam's War Project. Also included is the reel-to-reel audiotape from which the item was transcribed. Baldwin talks about his combat missions in Korea and Vietnam. He was on 103 combat missions in the Korean War before he was given leave in Japan. Baldwin talks about his career and about how his faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helped him during his military service.

John D. Lee petition
Handwritten petition, dated 15 Nov. 1853, addressed to the Utah Territorial legislature, and signed by Lee and twenty-six others. The petition requests that $2000 be appropriated to build a road from Ft. Harmony, Utah, through the St. George Valley to connect with the California Road. The signers argue that such a road would facilitate further settlement in the Washington and Iron counties of Utah.
