Edward Carl Peterson correspondence
Scope and Contents
Photocopies of handwritten and typewritten correspondence, mostly between Peterson and his family. He tells about his experiences in training and in France, including combat. His family writes about their activities and their concern for his safety. Peterson was wounded in combat and later killed on 11 November 1918, the last day of the war. Includes letters sent to Peterson's family following the war.

Biographical History
Peterson was a resident of Scipio, Utah, who served in the United States Army in France during World War I.
