Mentions improbability of finding a purchaser for a rundown farm, and her desire for as many east- and west-facing rooms as possible in a new house. Pages not dated, but may postdate death of her first husband, Edward Hunt, in 1863.

Handwritten letter by an unknown Mormon mother to her son, in which she tells of hardships endured and of her strong faith in the Lord. She describes the family's problems in England, and asks him to help financially so that they might join him in Utah.
Letter from Enterprise
Handwritten letter dated 15 Oct. 1901 and written in Enterprise, Oregon by an author who signed the letter as "Bruce." The item is to "Dear Grandma" who probably lived in Manti, Utah. Bruce writes congradulating "Grandma" on the birth of another great grandchild. The letter also tells about family matters.
