After thirty-one years, Capt. Hodges gives a unique banquet
A typed transcript of an article from the Salt Lake City, Utah Daily Tribune, titled "After Thirty-one Years, Capt. Hodges Gives a Unique Banquet," dated October 28, 1897. The article describes a banquet hosted by Capt. F. S. Hodges, a former Union Pacific railroad engineer, who is reuniting with Salt Lake City citizens who helped him build the railroad in Utah in 1866.
Bamberger Railroad Company records
General correspondence, financial records, surveys, and other papers relating to electrification, equipment, operation, and maintenance of the railroad line; legal papers and agreements dealing with rights of way; Bamberger family papers (1905-1919); and ledgers dealing with family interests in Utah and Nevada mines. The collections include maps relating to various railroad lines in Utah, California, and Nevada.
D R G and W Railway Company bills
Way bills, freight bills, and general bills of lading at Bingham Station in Utah. The items were issued in 1895, 1896, and 1902.
Sidney Alphonso Brady interview
Typed transcript of an oral history interview of Sidney Alphonso Brady. The interview was conducted by Albert Winkler between August 1973 and April 1974. The transcript notes that during the interview, "Wendell, Leota, and Sidney were present." Sidney tells anecdotes of working on the railroads, ranching, and growing up in the early 20th century in Fairview, Utah.

Photocopy of typescript. Author discusses his family's British roots; their acceptance of Mormonism while living in Birmingham, England, and their immigration to the United States. Tolton also describes his experiences during the Black Hawk War (Utah) and frontier life in Utah. His account goes into great detail about his involvement in territorial and state politics, his business ventures, family life, and his mission to Great Britain for the Mormon Church.

Tax papers (1904-1947), company correspondence (1909-1947), financial records including incoming statements and bank statements (1914-1929), financial papers for individual companies (1907-1953), mining bulletins (1926-1928), and over 200 maps and plans. The materials relate to the operations of the company and to the corporations in which it invested. Most of these companies were involved either in mining or in railroads.
