Typewritten autobiography. Teeples relates that she was born in Richland, Michigan, migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1848, settled in Goshen, Utah where she met Ute Indians on several occasions, moved to Pima, Arizona with her husband, and migrated to Bear Lake Valley after his death in 1883.

Handwritten autobiography which has been encapsulated and bound. The item starts with Thurber's biographies of her father, James Keeler, and her mother, Eliza Shelton Keeler. James Keeler's account was copied from his autobiography and diary. Laura lived in Santaquin, Goshen, and Richfield, Utah, and in Grass Valley, Nevada.
