Photocopy of a typewritten biography. The item also includes photocopies of photographs and newspaper clippings. Edgar Stubbs Smoot was born in 1905 in Provo, Utah. He married Dora Millard in 1927. He was a farmer and a cattle rancher who was also an active member of the Mormon Church.

Helen Foster Snow autobiography excerpts

There is also a brief description of Helen Foster Snow's life and a few dates extracted from her book, "My China Years." Also includes four newspaper clippings dated between 1978 and 1997, relating to the production of a 1978 movie by Helen Foster Snow and Tim Cosidine; and on Helen Foster Snow's life and involvement with China. The film had not been released as of 1997.

Letters contain information pertaining to relations with his plural family, his missionary experiences in England, and the building of the Manti, Utah Temple. Includes cover letter by donor.
