Scope and Contents Photocopies of a holograph document. Washburn suffered the loss of three family members including his wife in 1921. Shortly thereafter he was taken ill with influenza, and his deceased wife came to visit him from the spirit world. She assured him she and all their dead children were productive and happy. Washburn relates what she said and what he saw of the spirit world.

Scope and Contents Letter dated 16 July 1866 from Inland, Iowa. This is a powerful letter of religious zeal from "Millie" to her "Parents, Brothers, and Sisters." In the letter, she describes an elaborate vision she had where God showed her "a cave in the hill." In the cave were some "little casks" and she "saw the rich gleam of gold near them."
