Contains a phrenological report for Jesse N. Smith given by O. S. Fowler, dated 1872; a two-page manuscript by Mark Ardeth Dalton relating how he learned of the connection between his grandfather, Jesse N. Smith, and Heber J. Grant, president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1918 to 1945, dated 1935; two copies of The Kinsman (vol. 29 no. 3-4) with stories relating to the other materials in the collection, dated 1975.
