John Allen Sutton papers
Two holograph journals, one in 1856 describing his journey from England to Salt Lake City, the other from 1882-1883 containing genealogy and an account of his Latter-day Saint Church mission to England. Also includes a letter (with photocopy) containing short personal history and genealogy, a personal history (with typescript copy), and a letter concerning the provenance of the collection.
Sweet family letters and genealogical information
Letters include genealogical information to and from various members of the George W. Sweet family after they had grown and left home. The Sweete, Swaite, or Sweet family genealogical information dates from 1656 to 1879 but does not appear complete.

Elizabeth Beswick Tanner autobiography and program
Photocopy of a typescript of a three-page autobiography. Tanner writes about her marriage, her conversion to the Mormon Church, and her subsequent life in Ohio, Missouri, and Iowa. The date of the composition of this item is uncertain. Also included is a typed copy of a program of the 1885 reunion of the Tanner family in Payson, Utah.
Sidney Tanner letter
Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter dated April 13, 1847. Also included is a typescript of the item. Tanner writes to his "Father and Mother, Brothers & Sisters" to tell them about the moves he has been forced to make because of the persucutions of the Mormons and informs them about the deaths of family members.
