Holograph biography of George Washington Langley (1818-1850). Mormon missionary and pioneer to Utah, bodyguard of prophet Brigham Young (1801-1877), and husband of Mary Turner and Martha McKinney Frost.
Leroy Laurits Larsen missionary diary
Handwritten diary kept during his service as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Norway. Tells of his everyday life, missionary work, and transfers. Back of the diary includes a hand copy of a letter written by Leroy's father, N. S. Larsen, detailing his migration from Denmark to Salt Lake City, Utah, with the latter's brother, Hans.
Vernon W. Larsen photographs
Contains photographs taken by Vernon W. Larsen while he served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii from 1940 to 1941. The photographs are in a variety of sizes and are mostly of the people in the area, but some are of the other missionaries serving. Also included are photographs taken of the Brigham Young University campus in the early 1940s and pictures of Japan during the United States occupation after World War II.
Ola Larson diaries and genealogies
Photocopies of handwritten diaries, genealogies, and patriarchal blessings. The materials are partially autobiographical. Larson writes about his conversion to the Mormon Church, his activities in New Zealand, his mission to Sweden for the Mormon Church from 1899 to 1901, and his life in Logan, Utah. Larson was employed as a gardener and as a basket weaver.
John Delos Lauritzen journals and photographs
Materials include journals and photocopies of journals pertaining to John Delos Lauritzen's time as a missionary serving in New Zealand, and photographs surrounding his service. Also included are CD transcriptions of his mission journals. Dated approximately 1915-1919.
Wallace Stewart Lazenby diary
Account of his missionary service in the following locations in Hawaii: Kohala (Island of Hawaii), January-March; Honolulu (Oahu) March-April; and island of Kauai, April-August. Further entries document Lazenby's voyage to Los Angeles, California, August-September, and his subsequent activities in Los Angeles.
LDS French Mission : 1946-1950 / by Winnifred Bowers and Norma Gibbs Olsen
Contains photocopies of materials concerning the everyday functioning of the French Mission from 1946 to 1950, under the presidency of James L. Barker. Includes office, meeting, and schedule notes, photographs of missionaries, maps, and personal photographs from missionaries who served in France during that time. Also, there is a Christmas letter from 2004 added to the collection. Dated 1946-2004.

Handwritten diary with a typed copy of the item. Lee kept this diary while serving in Tennessee as a missionary for the Mormon Church. Lee writes about his experiences as a missionary, the people with whom he stayed, the distances he travelled, and the debates he held with local ministers. He also includes poems, illustrations, and some genealogical notes.
