Passing years
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The manuscript is a history of the early settling of southern Idaho and northern Utah. Most of the early settlers were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Also included are biographies of the author's ancestors including David Jensen. David and his wife, Serena Peterson joined the Mormon Church in 1862 in Denmark. They came to Utah in 1863.
James Mills Paxton autobiography
Photocopy of a 17-page handwritten autobiography. Paxton was born in England, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1854, migrated to Utah in 1863, worked in Parowan in 1864, moved to Panguitch in 1865, participated in the Black Hawk War against the Indians, and learned masonry at Toquerville in 1867. He also presents a copy of his patriarchal blessing.

Personal papers, 1906-1966
Peterson family receipts and ledger
Handwritten receipts and ledgers containing the signatures of the participants of each Peterson family reunion between 1928 and 1946. The receipts are for various expenses of the reunions. Also included is a brief, typewritten summary of each reunion.
