Walker family songs / Kamon Walker, 2007
Walker, spurred by the changing effect of technology on family folklore, explores the topic of Walker family songs before they are forgotten and often replaced. He analyzes the importance of different forms of songs in family relationships and unity. These different forms include family road songs and lullabies. Fenton analyzes engagement stories specific to the community of individuals in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He focuses on social pressures that lead to similarities in each engagement story through the use of personal narratives that demonstrate his point. Holmes interviewed his father, mother, and neighbor about the impact that World War II had on them as they grew up. Included are stories from the beginning of the war, the war in California, the war in New York, the war in Utah, and the ramifications they experienced. Project was created for Professor Bell's English 391 course taught at Brigham Young University in 1999.

Low writes about the experiences of her grandmother, Lore Hertha Baer Bonds (1933- ), during World War II in Germany. Included are stories about fear and suspicion, missionaries being called home due to the war, hunger, and the tension between citizens during the war. Low was a student in Bell's English 391 class Winter Semester of 2004 at Brigham Young University.
