Abstract

This is a compilation of brief life summaries and pictures of the wives of the General Authorities who served under President Spencer W. Kimball in 1980, collected in honor of Camilla Kimball's 86th birthday on 7 December 1980. It contains brief life histories and pictures of each of the women as well as personal messages to Camilla on her birthday.

Fawn McKay Brodie letter

Scope and Contents

Typewritten and signed letter, dated January 12, 1946, and addressed to Gordon Ray Young. Brodie explains why she cannot do a biography of Brigham Young, the second president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or of Samuel Brannan. She states that materials relating to Young would be denied to her by the Church.

Salt Lake City, Utah Ter., Feb. 8/66." All subsequent writing appears to be written by Abraham H. Cannon. The second to last page reveals new handwriting and records the date as 3 August 1916.
