Herman Thorup journal
Typewritten transcript of Herman Thorup's journal for the period of 1879 to 1929; documents his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Denmark, as well as his life in Salt Lake City, Utah; his arrest, trial, and imprisonment for "unlawful cohabitation"; his work as a florist and nurseryman; the impact of the Edmunds Tucker Act; Utah politics; his own political activities; his volunteer work; and his family and spiritual life.
Joseph S. Thurber diary
Handwritten diary kept while Thurber was serving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Switzerland. He worked in the French-speaking areas. Also included is an autobiography at the end of the record in which Thurber writes about his early life. Thurber lived in Richfield, Utah.

Mechanically reproduced ticket with the stamped signature of Wilford Woodruff on it. The item admits the bearer to the dedication of the Salt Lake Temple of the Mormon Church.

The materials relate to Genevieve Tietjen and her husband, Henry Roland Tietjen, particularly when Henry served as a mission president for the Mormon Church in Hawaii. The biographies and autobiographies relate largely to Sarah' ancestors.

This is a collection of 13 radio talks given by William M. Timmins, Jr. on the Salt Lake City radio station KSL in 1959. Also enclosed are one program copy and one fan letter. Timmin's talks include such diverse subjects as "Christ's True Church," "The Book of Mormon," and the "Signs of the Times."
Deseret Sunday School Union letter
Typewritten letter dated 10 March 1893 to be sent to all the Superintendents of Sunday Schools. The item explains that the Sunday School hopes to make money from the proceeds of a concert to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on 6 April 1893.
