Isaac H. Bishop letter
Photocopy of a handwritten letter and a typescript of the item. The letter is addressed to "Dear Brother and Sister" and dated 3 May 1849. Bishop writes about family matters and quotes from the second book of Esdras dealing with the end of the world.
Davis Bitton papers
Contains items primarily created by or about Davis Bitton while a professor of history at the University of Utah and while Assistant Church Historian. Research notes from his many projects are included in the collection, as well as correspondence between him and his family members and other colleagues. Much of his life's work as church historian is included in this collection. Materials date from between 1834 and 2007.

Typescript and photocopy of missionary experiences by Edward L. Black. Black tells of many faith-promoting events while a missionary in Florida, his experiences with ministers of different denominations, and his fellow missionaries in the field.

Eight original handwritten and bound journals and typescripts of the same. The items describe the experiences of Edward L. Black while serving as a missionary in the Southern States Mission of the Mormon Church.
Geroge Black diaries and letters received
Handwritten diaries and letters. The diaries were kept from 1891 to 1894 when Black was serving as a missionary for the Mormon Church in Great Britain. The two letters were written to him by a son and a daughter when he was living in Manti, Utah.
Rosa Vida Bischoff Black papers
Contains correspondence, greeting cards, personal narratives, and scrapbooks collected by Rosa Vida Bischoff Black. Included among these personal papers are papers about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many of the materials are also genealogy records documenting the family history of the Black, Murphy, and Bischoff families, as well as Myrna Jean Murphy Black. Materials dated approximately 1710-2011, with the bulk dated approximately 1900-2005.

Includes a tyepwritten history of Blake's correspondence with a German prisoner of war, a letter in German, a history of prisoners of war in Orem during World War II, images of some of these prisoners, and a history of the end of Blake's mission to Germany. Dated 1943-2009.
