Contains materials pertaining to the life of Norman Toone Erekson. Included are journals written by both Norman and his wife Annie detailing their everyday life, important church events (i.e. baptisms), etc; floppy and Zip disks containing files including Word documents on Church historical topics; and slides which include pictures on various trips the family has made including to Bangkok, Saigon, Greece, and Seattle. Jens C. Gasberg journal
Journal written by Jens C. Gasberg in Danish between 1865 and 1911. Entries describe activities, missionary service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, courtship, journey to Brigham City, Utah, family events, trial for polygamy, and other topics. Also includes inserted photographs, newspaper clippings, and other material. Collection also includes an English translation of the journal.
George Ezra Teasdale journal, 1898-1917
Journal approximately covers the years 1898-1903. Containing very little handwriting, it is mostly full of newspaper clippings related to the Blue Jay Mine in Beaver County, Utah that Teasdale managed when a vein of ore was discovered in December of 1902. The journal also contains several postcards from the Aurora Mining and Milling Company and printed ephemera related to a group Teasdale belonged to called the Ancient Order of United Workmen (A.O.U.W.).
