The miscellaneous papers include a poster, photographs, newspapers clippings, and correspondence.

Collection includes original photographs taken by Andrew Joseph Russell around Utah and the western states. There are also modern reproductions and microfiche printings. Image features include Yellowstone, railroads, Native Americans, and early Utah settlers. One of the prints is a copy of the Russell photograph of the Samuel Ashton cabin and family.
