Several different tribes are photographed including the Navajo, Menominee, and Hopi. The only state identified as the location of these photos is Arizona.

Scope and Contents Holograph document recording of names of 398 Menominee Indians in 1872. These individuals were the heads of households. Numbers of men, women, and children of each household are also presented. The roll was also a financial record indicating how much each family unit was paid by the US government on 13 Sept. 1872.
