Bound diary produced by Hales describing his experiences as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the German-Austrian Mission. The journal begins with him in Salt Lake City and continues in Meerane, Aschersleben, and Leipzig, Germany. The last few pages of the volume contain street addresses and notes.
