Typescript of a blessing Calvin Smith received from his father, Joseph F. Smith, prior to leaving for service as chaplain during World War I. Others participating in the blessing include Anthon H. Lund, Charles W. Penrose, George Albert Smith, Patriarch Hyrum Gibbs Smith, and Bishop Charles W. Nibley. Dated February 8, 1918.
