Scope and Contents Collection contains the Colliers's various writings throughout the years. DeFonda kept a diary from 1916 to 1998. The collection also has many letters to and from various family members. Although Theodore never kept a formal diary except while he was on his mission, his letters to children (mostly Bob and Rae Ann) essentially serve that purpose. Scope and Contents Handwritten autobiographies, diaries, correspondence, patriarchal blessings, and miscellaneous materials. Typescripts and photocopies of many of these items are also found with the collection. Some of the materials have been bound into books. The collection relates primarily to Joab Collier (1855-1918) and Theodocia Keeler Collier (1858-1912). The Colliers were Mormons who lived in Provo, Vernal, and in Salt Lake City, Utah.
