Edward VII letter
Handwritten and signed letter, addressed to the Countess of Derby, and dated June 1, 1875. Also included is an envelope. Edward apologizes for not answering the countess' letter earlier and tells her how much he enjoyed her party at the Foreign Office.
George V letter
Handwritten and signed letter addressed to the "Soldiers of the United States." The item is an expression of welcome by the king on behalf of the "people of the British Isles," and a commendation to the American soldiers for helping to fight the "great battle for human freedom," World War One.
