George V letter
Scope and Contents
Handwritten and signed letter addressed to the "Soldiers of the United States." The item is an expression of welcome by the king on behalf of the "people of the British Isles," and a commendation to the American soldiers for helping to fight the "great battle for human freedom," World War One.
