Annie Atkin letters
Annie Atkin letters, 1914-1917 includes letters to and from Annie Tate Atkin. Letters from her mother, Elizabeth De La Mare Tate, comprise the bulk of the collection, with a few letters from her siblings Leland, Luella, Edith, and Charles (who was serving a mission in the LDS Southern States Mission).
William Atkin autobiography
Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typescript. The item is an autobiography of William Atkin "A Youth's Experience taken from the Union printed in 1896." William Atkin was born in England on 27 March 1835 and joined the Mormon Church in 1852. He migrated to the United States in 1855 and moved to Florence, Nebraska. He came to Utah in a handcart company and commented on the inexperience of the people in his group. He arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 10 November 1859.

Charles Atmore letter
Handwritten letter dated March 22, 1853, addressed to "Brother and Sister," and written in Mud Springs, California. Atmore writes about leaving his home in Michigan and going to California in search of gold and becoming a farmer there. He also describes California and the problems in looking for gold there.
