Elmer Ewing collection of Mormon letters
Collection includes photocopies of correspondence collected by Elmer Ewing written by Mormon pioneers. Includes the letters of Temperance Bond Mack, Christeen Golden Kimball, and Nathan Calhoun Cheney describing their travels to Salt Lake City and other events in Mormon history. One letter by Cheney also includes a description of events surrounding the death of Joseph Smith.
James Fennemore letter
Handwritten letter addressed to George and dated October 19, 1866. Fennemore gives an account of his family migrating to Utah, outlines the condition of their subsequent lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, and presents a description of the city.

Travel diary of Grace M. Ford, documenting the period from August to November 1907. Diary has sixty-four pages, and includes an account of her visit to Salt Lake City, Utah.
William Forman diary and biographies
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. Forman writes about his youth. He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1851 and migrated to Utah in 1854. He lived in Salt Lake City, Utah Valley, and Heber City, Utah. He was fined for polygamy in 1891. Also included are three biographies of family members written by John Forman in 1932.
Mary Ann Burnham Freeze diaries
Handwritten diaries, notebook, and letter of Mary Ann Burnham Freeze, a Latter-day Saint woman. Freeze writes about her life in Salt Lake City and in Logan, Utah. She served as a member of the General Board of the Young Ladies' National Mutual Improvement Association of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She writes about her various family and social activities, including her account of living in a polygamous household. Materials dated 1875-1899.

Robert Gorlinski papers
Diaries, field notes, correspondence, and maps. Gorlinski worked primarily in Utah and many of the materials relate to his activities in and around Park City, Utah. He was also associated with projects in other places in Utah and in sites in Nevada, California, and Idaho. The diaries cover the years 1909 to 1955 when Gorlinski was living in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Great Salt Lake City Corporation currency
The folder contains a signed piece of currency from 1868 printed by the Great Salt Lake City Corporation. The item is a bill which is payable for fifty cents in United States currency.
