Collection consists of papers relating to the dictionary Ermel J. Morton, a Mormon missionary who went to Tonga, created from English to Tongan and Tongan to English, his accounts of his mission and translating the Book of Mormon, a history of his wife, a catalog of his materials from home, a typed copy of the talks at his funeral and a Tongan grammar book. There is also a book written about the time the family spent in Tonga.

Scope and Contents

Typescript of an oral history, newspaper clippings, articles, correspondence, periodicals, and miscellaneous items. Most of the items were written by Gaeth as part of his broadcasting and journalism careers. The oral history is an interview conducted by Ronald G. Watt in 1976 as part of the James Moyle Oral History Program of the Historical Department of the Mormon Church. This interview largely relates to Gaeth's missionary activities in Europe.

Scope and Contents Photocopies of diaries, newspaper clippings, play scripts, articles on Utah and LDS Church history, and correspondence. Margetts writes about his trip to Utah in 1850. His diary covers the time he served as a missionary for the LDS Church in Great Britain from 1857 to 1858. Many of the items relate to Margetts' career in the theater, to the Salt Lake Theater, and to drama in Utah. Thirteen photocopies of a typewritten manuscript and eighteen photographs of Italian documents all bound in one volume. The typescripts are Jorgensen's account of how he became interested in Lebolo, and of how he accomplished his research on the man. Lebolo was an Egyptologist of the early 19th century.
