The extracts start in 1853 when Bigler was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Hawaii. He writes about a smallpox epidemic and missionary experiences. He returned to Utah in 1855. Collection contains a handwritten diary (approximately 200 pages ; 16 x 11 cm). Except for a few pages, the item covers the years 1875-1877 when Brown served as a Mormon missionary in England. John Evans diary and autobiography
