Scope and Contents
Typescipt of an interview taken from the included audiocassettes. The interview was conducted by David Jones on 14 August 1985 for Dr. Ray Hillam's Political Science 379R course at Brigham Young University. Roley talks about joining the U.S. Navy out of high school and describes his experiences while on ships off the coasts of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

Riley was in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints living in Payson, Utah.
