Aurel Pratt Winkler diaries
Scope and Contents
Photocopies of two handwritten five-year diaries. Aurel kept these in the last years of his life. He writes about his activities and illnesses. The last entry, 17 July 1984, was written by Aurel's wife, Blanche, on the day he died. "He left me this afternoon."

Biographical / Historical
Winkler was the oldest child of Albert William and Emma Fowles Winkler. He was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, attended Utah State University (Agricultural College), worked as an Indian Agent in New Mexico, and spent his retirement in Provo, Utah.
