Letters, 1895-1938
Scope and Contents
One handwritten and signed letter addressed to "My Dear Hart" and dated March 1895. Beard writes about payment for an illustration which he had produced.
Also included is a typewritten and signed letter, dated 18 April 1938, addressed to R. Meritt Baker of Denver, Colorado, and composed on stationary of the Boy Scouts of America. Beard writes about a missed engagement for which he was to write a greeting. With the letter is the envelope in which it was sent.
