Caption on item; "During a recent visit to the United States, Mr. C. R. Wheeler (in raincoat) chairman of the British Iron and Steel Company toured the west. He stopped to see U.S. Steel's operations at the Geneva Works of the Columbia-Geneva Steel Division near Provo, Utah. During his trip through the huge steel mill he paused on the high line of the blast furnaces to chat with Harold B. Makin, division superintendent-blast furnaces (left) and Leonard Tofft, superintendent-blast furnaces."
