Caption on item: "Nails head for market as they are loaded on large trailer trucks at the Nail Mill of the Pittsburg, Calif., Plant of Columbia Steel Company, a U.S. Steel subsidiary. Fibre boxes, used for packaging nails at this Columbia mill, are shown being removed from a pallet held suspended over the trailer top by a lift truck. The fibre boxes permit faster loading and unloading of nails."
