Caption on item: "Swift storage handling of fibre nail containers is accomplished by modern lift trucks in the Nail Mill at the Pittsburg, Calif., Plant of Columbia Steel Company, a United States Steel subsidiary. Lawrence Jones, a lift truck operator, is shown moving a pallet-load of fibre nail containers into place. Another lift truck operator, William McLemore, can be seen moving two pallet-loads of nails in the background. The fibre boxes used for packaging nails, conserve storage space in the Nail Mill and also the warehouses of jobbers."
