General note
Caption on item: "WY Ore Mine," and "This is the mountain that will be moved after iron mining operations start in late 1962 at U. S. Steel's big Atlantic City Project, near Lander, Wyoming. The low-grade iron ore, called 'taconite,' lies hidden beneath this snow-covered hill. At lower right, men and earth-moving rigs excavate and move earth fill for the future mine access road leading from the deposits to the processing facilities."
