General note

Caption on item: "Idaho's first and only vehicular suspension bridge is nearing completion over the North Fork Clearwater River. Known as the Dent bridge, it is about 25 miles upstream from the new Dworshak Dam which is to be completed next year, forming a 53-mile-long reservoir. The center span is 1,050 feet long and is more than 500 feet above the river. When the reservoir is filled the roadway will be only 50 feet above the surface at high water. The bridge is being constructed under supervision of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The contractor is Hensel Phelps Construction Co., of Greeley, Colo. Steel fabrication was by Fought Co., of Portland and steel erection is being done by Don L. Cooney, Inc., of Seattle-Tacoma."
