General note

Caption on item: "Six huge steel girders more than 120 feet long and weighing 32,000 pounds each were hoisted in place on the Beck Street overpass north of Salt Lake City Friday as work commenced on the street erection phase of the project. Engineers of U.S. Steel’s American Bridge Division, sub-contractors to the W. W. Clyde Company, said more than 740 tons of steel – 102 steel beams in all – will be placed on the big bridge. They expect to have all the steel work completed by April 1."
