Scope and Contents note
David W. Seegmiller diary, January 1940–December 1942, including photographs, performance programs, and other important papers. This part of the diary tells of his next two years of teaching and summers in New York City. He also mentions the marriage of his sister Marie and the attack at Pearl Harbor. During this time he receives his patriarchal blessing, is drafted into the army, and is sent off to training camp in the Pacific Northwest.
