File contains materials relating to the service of Emery Tripp Snyder in the U.S. Army as an engineer during World War II. Materials contain many photocopies, including a program for an Easter service held by Snyder's Batallion, Christmas cards, letters, envelopes, an photographs. In Snyder's personal histories, he speaks of his experiences as a Platoon and Company Commander in an Engineer Topographic Battalion. File also contains correspondence from Snyder's daughter, Gail Von Aspern to Dr. Robert Freeman, concerning the material contained in the folder. Dated 1941-1946 and 2000-2006.
