Biographical History
Isabel Modalena Whitney Sears (1848-1941) was a Mormon woman in Utah and Kentucky.
Isabel Modelena Whitney, also known as Belle, was born on November 2, 1848 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Newel Kimball Whitney and Emmeline Blanche Woodward. She worked as a school teacher in Salt Lake City prior to her marriage to Septimus Wagstaff Sears (1844-1903) on April 11, 1869. They had eight children. Sears died on December 1, 1941 in Campbell, Kentucky.
