Scope and Contents

Photocopied photographs, some panoramic from the 1920s-1940s, dated 1838 to 2003. Photographs depict Latter-day Saints in Kansas City, Missouri; Independence, Missouri; Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and Liberty, Missouri. Also contains clippings on Latter-day Saint news or topics from Kansas and Missouri; copies of a certificate granting John Whitmer land in Lexington, Missouri, dated September 7, 1838, signed by Pres. Van Buren; a copy of a photograph of "Singing Mothers from Kansas City and Independence, Mo. In the Mormon Tabernacle, Salt Lake City, Utah”; and two programs, one for the Hiram Page grave marker commemoration in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, 2002, and one for the Alexander Doniphan Community Service Award program, Historic Liberty Jail, Liberty, Missouri, 2003.
