David John diary, 1889-1895
Scope and Contents
Handwritten diary of John covering his life from June 1889-April 1895. Includes descriptions of his experiences in his duties as regional presiding bishop for the Utah Stake, member of the Utah Stake presidency, and Utah Stake Sunday School superintendent. Most of the contents are of ordinations performed, local Church units organized, or conferences and meetings attended. Includes some transcriptions of his remarks given at meetings, dreams or visions he received, and some letters John sent or received. An index is included at the end of the volume. Dated 1889-1895.
