Scope and Contents

Embroidered Qing Dynasty skirt panel fragment, red ground, featuring a dragon in couched gold foil covered silk thread. Slanted water and wave patterns and cloud motifs surround the dragon and a flaming pearl is to its left. All designs are in satin stitch.
