Biographical / Historical
Mark Lewis James was born on October 26, 1871, to Mark and Harriet James in Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York. He owned the five and dime store in Bingham Canyon, Utah. He loved photography and would use the photographs he took to make postcards he could sell in his store. He died on July 29, 1944, in Bingham, Utah.
