Biographical History

Elisha Kent Kane (1856-1935) was a brick manufacturer in Pennsylvania.

Elisha Kent Kane was born November 25, 1856 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the second child of Thomas L. Kane and Elizabeth Wood Kane. Elisha owned a brick manufactory. He married Griselda "Zella" Ellen Hays, and together they had five children: Harriet G. Kane, Evan O'Neill Kane, Elisha K. Kane, Florence Kane, and Virginia Kane. Kane died in Pennsylvania on February 18, 1935.
