Scope and Contents
Contains eleven letters from Edward Hayhurst to his father or "Our Folks," or his mother during January and February 1864. The letters were written while traveling in the Clinch Mountain/Knoxville area of Tennessee, south to a temporary camp at Campbell's Station (near Farragut, Tennessee), then back up to Knoxville. No notable battles or events recorded during this time.
